01Why Komodo is so special
The waters of Komodo National Park are known for healthy coral reefs, extraordinary marine biodiversity, schools of tropical fish, turtles and manta rays. Every dive brings different colours and life.
02One day or a 4-day liveaboard
The 1-day dive tour includes several dives at sites chosen for the sea conditions and your experience, with time to relax on board between dives.
The 4-day, 3-night dive liveaboard on a pinisi explores the north, centre and south of the park. Your days are devoted to the underwater world and end with sunsets among the islands.
03Currents and certification
Some areas of Komodo have strong currents. For the liveaboard, a recognised certification and suitable experience are recommended. The route is adapted to the group’s ability and the day’s conditions.
Always follow your dive guide, use appropriate equipment, and respect depth and no-decompression limits.
04Plan the gap before flying
As a general guide, wait at least 12 hours after a single no-decompression dive, and 18 hours after multiple dives or multi-day diving, before boarding a plane. Many operators recommend a longer gap, so plan your last dive and your flight carefully.
05Wildlife cannot be guaranteed
Manta rays, turtles and other marine life are wild animals, so sightings are never certain. The number of dives and included services also depend on the operator, so confirm the details before booking.
